TapClaim

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information TapClaim ("we", "us") collects when you use the TapClaim iOS app and the website at https://tapclaim-legal.ever-code.co, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. TapClaim helps you discover U.S. class-action settlements you may qualify for and track claims you have filed. If you have questions, contact us at info@ever-code.net.

The short version: Your TapClaim account is anonymous — we do not collect your name, email address, or payment card details. When you file a claim, you do so yourself on the settlement administrator's official website, opened in an in-app browser. Information you enter on a settlement administrator's claim form goes directly to the administrator. TapClaim does not receive, see, or store what you enter on those third-party websites.

1. Overview

TapClaim aggregates publicly available information about U.S. class-action settlements. To match you with settlements, the app asks a short onboarding quiz and optional per-settlement eligibility questions, and asks for a U.S. mailing address. Your account is anonymous and device-based: it is tied to a generated user ID, not to your name or email. We collect only what is described in this policy, and we designed the app to work without knowing who you are.

2. Information You Provide

You provide the following information directly in the app:

All of this is linked to your generated user ID, not to your name.

3. Information We Collect Automatically

When you use the app, we and our service providers collect:

4. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

5. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

A match or eligibility indication in TapClaim means only that, based on your answers and public settlement criteria, you may qualify. It is not a determination of eligibility; only the settlement administrator and the court decide who is eligible.

6. Tracking and Advertising Attribution

We show Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt in the app. Device identifiers are used for advertising attribution only if you allow tracking; if you decline, attribution events are sent without cross-app identifiers.

For attribution, the Meta (Facebook) SDK receives only a limited set of funnel events — registration completed, content viewed, and checkout initiated — and the TikTok SDK receives similar attribution events. These are used to measure whether our ads led to installs and subscriptions. We do not send your mailing address or eligibility answers to advertising platforms.

You can change your tracking choice at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking.

7. Service Providers We Use

We share data with the following service providers, each for the purpose listed:

ProviderPurpose
Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (Google)App analytics and crash reporting
Meta (Facebook) SDKAd attribution — limited funnel events only (registration completed, content viewed, checkout initiated)
TikTok SDKAd attribution
PostHogProduct analytics and experiments
RevenueCatSubscription management and purchase status
ApplePayment processing for subscriptions, and Apple Search Ads attribution (AdServices token)

These providers process data on our behalf or, in the case of advertising platforms, for attribution as described in Section 6. We do not sell your mailing address or eligibility answers to anyone.

8. Settlement Administrator Websites

When you choose to file a claim, TapClaim opens the settlement administrator's official claim form in an in-app browser. You submit the claim yourself on that third-party website. Those websites are operated by settlement administrators, not by us, and are governed by their own privacy policies and terms. TapClaim does not receive, see, or store the information you enter there, does not file claims on your behalf, is not a party to any settlement, and does not process, hold, or distribute any settlement payments.

9. How We Share Information

We share information only as follows:

We do not sell your mailing address, eligibility answers, or claim tracking data.

10. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete it, typically within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records to comply with law. Aggregated or de-identified analytics data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained longer.

11. Your Rights and Choices

Because your account is anonymous, rights requests work a little differently. Your account is tied to a generated user ID on your device, not to your name or email — so we cannot verify you by email address alone. The in-app "Delete account" option removes your matches and claim history from your device. To have the data held on our servers deleted, or to exercise any other privacy right, contact info@ever-code.net and include your user ID (shown in the app) so we can locate your data.

Your choices include:

U.S. state privacy rights. Depending on your state (for example, California), you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of the "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To opt out of sharing, decline tracking in the ATT prompt and email info@ever-code.net with your user ID. We will honor valid requests as required by applicable law.

Other jurisdictions. Where laws such as the GDPR or Türkiye's data protection law (KVKK) apply to you, you may have similar rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Contact us at info@ever-code.net to exercise them.

12. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — but because we collect no name, email, or payment details, the data we hold about you is limited by design.

13. Children's Privacy

TapClaim is intended for adults in the United States. The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact info@ever-code.net.

14. International Data Processing

TapClaim is offered to users in the United States. Your data may be processed in the United States, Türkiye, and other countries where we or our service providers (such as Google, PostHog, and RevenueCat) operate. Wherever your data is processed, it is protected as described in this policy.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of TapClaim after a change means you accept the updated policy.

16. Contact Us

For privacy questions or requests, contact us at info@ever-code.net or visit https://tapclaim-legal.ever-code.co. Please include your user ID (shown in the app) with any request about your data so we can locate it.
